We first met John Bedwell while filming Dr. Elaine lngham’s True Fertility Course at Werribbee. He was new to biological farming and somewhat skeptical of the outcomes. So we were pleased to meet John the following year at Elaine’s Compost and Compost Tea Revision Day where he was reporting back to the group. Both of these meetings with John open this video which was filmed in the 3rd year of John using compost tea in the paddocks.
Ironically John has been using David Davidson’s vermicompost. It was only when talking to David that we realised this and so decided to follow John up with David to hear how the programme was progressing. John uses David‘s vermicompost in preference to making his own compost as he knows that it is reliably excellent with a high fungal count.
As we walk and talk you will hear that whilst John is still facing problems he is committed to putting the soil biology first.
