Since filming the presenters at the Cardinia Food Forum there has has been a lot happening with various groups within the shire.
One of the four priority themes across the Cardinia Food Network is Enhancing Food Skills, Knowledge and Culture. As part of this theme, late last year some preliminary work was done with local schools, Monash and RMIT University researchers and award winning locavores O. My Restaurant to explore food literacy across schools and creative and fun ways to connect students, community members and local food leaders to build knowledge and connection with food, land, farms, cooking and health.
