Farmers visit a trial site where leading agricultural masters contribute and demonstrate how to use animals to regenerate or build landscape function increasing higher succession perennials, soil coverage and soil fertility without introducing fertiliser or pasture seeds but by using grazing management skills.
Annabel Walsh, a farmer at Wentworth, is Chairperson of Stipa which furthers an understanding of the complex role our native grasses play in supporting a functioning landscape in our productive agricultural systems. Annabel realises that our landscape is struggling under the modern farming practices and is very keen to reach farmers with this important message. She invites you to join the Stipa network at: www.stipa.com.au
