ABOUT: André Leu is the Author of the ‘Myths of Safe Pesticides’ and ‘Poisoning our Children’. He is the co-author with Dr Vandana Shiva of ‘Biodiversity, Agroecology, Regenerative Agriculture – Sustainable Solutions for Hunger, Poverty and Climate Change’.
André is the International Director of Regeneration International. It is an organization that promotes food, farming and land use systems that regenerate and stabilize climate systems, the health of the planet and people, communities, culture and local economies, democracy and peace. Regeneration International works with numerous agricultural systems such as agroecology, organic, permaculture, ecological agriculture, holistic grazing, biological agriculture, organic agriculture and agroforestry.
He was the longest serving President of IFOAM – Organics International, the world change agent and umbrella body for the organic sector. He is currently an IFOAM Ambassador.

ABOUT: Colin Seis and his son Nicholas own and run the 2000-acre property “Winona” which is situated North of Gulgong on the central slopes of NSW. The Seis family was one of the early pioneering families in the Gulgong district and has been farming and grazing there since the 1860s. Winona runs around four thousand, 18.5 – micron merino sheep, which includes a 58 year old Merino Stud and “Pasture crops” around 500 acres annually to oats, wheat and cereal rye. Winona also runs one of the largest kelpie working dog studs in the world and sells dogs and pups to many countries in North and South America, Europe and Scandinavia as well as all states of Australia. ABOUT: Steve Groff and his family, farm 215 acres of cash grain crops, cover crops for seed, pumpkins, hard squash and heirloom tomatoes in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. For the past 25 years, his Cedar Meadow Farm has conducted thousands of cover crop research trials- out of which he developed the Tillage Radish- known and used around the world. Steve is the founder of Cover Crop Coaching which educates farmers and farm advisors about effective cover crop use. Recently he launched Hemp Innovators, a subscription-based educational network for those interested in growing hemp.

ABOUT: Sam is a father, entrepreneur, and passionate environmentalist. He create technology to help people better manage their soil. Sam is a founder of FarmLab. FarmLab was started in 2016 with the aim of digitising the earth’s soil. Since then, we’ve created a platform to help agronomists, consultants and farmers better map, sample and analyse soil using the latest in soil science and digital soil mapping techniques, developed in conjunction with the University of Sydney as part of the Soiltech Project. We also formed partnerships with researchers and government institutions to enable us to provide world class analysis when it comes to soil and plant types.

In 2016 Sam recognised an emerging farming problem. Retiring farmers were simply selling off vast amounts of property and with it a deep understanding of farming. He is based in the Huon Valley in southern Tasmania, and has a special interest in working with family farms helping to create profitable, sustainable farm businesses which are enjoyable to work in. Graeme farms beef cattle in Tasmania and NSW and is the CEO of Stipa Native Grasses Association a not for profit charity that promotes the use of native grasslands in agriculture. He also runs his own consultancy business and has delivered workshops across Australia & internationally to cropping and grazing farmers on farm financial health checks, planned grazing and forage & cover cropping.
