During this Mastermind class we covered a lot of topics!
- We spoke about some of the wins that we are all experiencing in the last 30 days
- We also spoke about Teale’s new online course all about Soil Organic Carbon,
- We spoke about Jackie’s human hair composting idea and the class was very excited to add ideas and suggestions.
- Leanne also showed her drone footage for a local farm that uses Keyline farming methods.
- Galel also shared her success with using a microscope on her Truffle Farm.

00:16:16 Leanne Davis: Can Rachelle explain more about the flowers
00:16:50 Gerhard Grasser: Good work Rachelle. We need to keep this movement going to inspire hope and a positive future for the planet and all the living organisms lucky to co-habit on Mother Earth…
00:18:13 Rachelle Armstrong: Thanks Leanne. They were sent to me by our Soil Restoration Farming Coaching Community that many have been part of our community of support to independent regen coaches for 1yr today!
00:18:52 Leanne Davis: Oh that’s so lovely Rachelle

00:42:19 Gael Kennedy: Can Chris share details of the testing service he’s offering please
00:44:35 ‘Regen Ray’ Milidoni: Chris Email: ctmacquet@gmx.com
00:45:59 Leanne Davis: Is it this program? https://www.agriculture.gov.au/agriculture-land/farm-food-drought/natural-resources/soils/soil-monitoring-and-incentives
00:46:35 Gael Kennedy: yes
00:47:06 Gerhard Grasser: I’m afraid that I need to go. Have some important livestock jobs to do – like water supply! Thanks and cheers for now, GG
00:48:37 Leanne Davis: One of the testing partners Southern Cross University
00:48:54 Gael Kennedy: yes – I was using them any way
00:49:01 Leanne Davis: https://www.scu.edu.au/engage/news/latest-news/2022/southern-cross-to-deliver-low-cost-soil-testing-under-544m-government-program.php
00:54:45 Leanne Davis: I would be interested in a conversation with Gail at another time on this subject.
00:55:00 Jackie Yong: me too
00:57:40 Leanne Davis: So exciting Jackie!
01:00:48 Leanne Davis: Jackie, do you have a website?
01:00:59 Gael Kennedy: wow Jackie that’s an amazing story!
01:01:07 Rachelle Armstrong: Super cool – is there enough hair out there
01:01:42 Leanne Davis: We have heaps of hairdressers in Orange. It’s super interesting.
01:03:49 Leanne Davis: Have you tried it in a worm farm?
01:05:33 Stephanie Robertson: What about the chemicals in hair that has had things done to it?
01:09:09 Gael Kennedy: amazing
01:09:11 Chris: Very interesting -carbon and hair
01:10:06 Leanne Davis: Puts another slant on reuse recycle reduce
01:12:02 Leanne Davis: It would be interesting to look into the type of microbial population under the microscope.
01:12:26 Chris: Jackie,
01:13:43 Chris: Jackie, Happy to compare your soil with similar soil product being sold the same way, same message.
01:14:33 Stephanie Robertson: I have a friend who collects hair from hairdressers and uses it to put in the bottom of pots and planting holes before putting in the plant. She reckons it is a wonderful slow release food for plants and takes about 7 years to break down.
01:15:09 Rachelle Armstrong: And I think that HAIR is your point of difference and what you are passionate about with this product so that the name you suggested doesn’t stand out like it could.
01:15:23 Chris: We will probably test and compare at the microbial level
01:15:53 ‘Regen Ray’ Milidoni: https://www.farmers2founders.com/
01:19:39 Chris: Yes, my Farmers2Founders email has just arrived, so will follow up with them
01:19:53 Chris: Yes, one learns so much from these workshops!
01:20:06 Jackie Yong: my email I evolvingmindsaligned@gmail.com
01:20:14 Leanne Davis: If we have time I can share some video from my friends farm.
01:20:17 Jackie Yong: would love to connect
01:20:32 Rachelle Armstrong: I would be happy to chat with you further Jackie to sort the forest for the trees – 0407 879 053
01:21:01 Chris: Rachelle, good to see you again. Just ested the quality of 3 worm juices, incl NutriSoil
01:21:09 Jackie Yong: my number is 0403 949 660
01:22:26 Rachelle Armstrong: Thanks Chris that sounds interesting. Yes NutriSoil was my old business. Still going strong but I’ve moved into another exciting space. Sucker for punishment to start again but love a challenge.
01:24:24 Chris: Be careful of drones using hyper spectral analysis, as this testing of carbon levels, etc, needs to be done in close, very close proximity to the soil. Ray knows the Ramscan, which uses infra-red and would agree. .
01:24:46 Jackie Yong: Chris, do you mind sharing your number?
01:25:17 Chris: 0416 227 375
01:25:30 Jackie Yong: thank you
01:26:59 Chris: Rachelle, we need to talk
01:27:37 Rachelle Armstrong: Certainly Chris my number is above
01:28:59 Gerhard Grasser: Have come back into the webinar to see the aerial photos of the landscape. Is there much planning in the wind to plant shelterbelts and create habitat for wildlife as well as livestock?
01:29:44 Chris: Rachelle, Aaaah, found it at last. Also have your www
01:30:57 ‘Regen Ray’ Milidoni: Chris it’s www.soilrestorationfarming.com.au
01:33:14 Chris: Am not doing carbon, etc, testing at the moment as too busy building FindGoodFood.info / .net, But can do microbial level scanning, but the each test solution costs approx. Au $15 per test. Have also used this to do worm juice comparisons.
01:33:19 Stephanie Robertson: It will be really interesting to see the landscape a couple of years after tree planting
01:33:29 Meghan Claxton: I wish farmers around would do more of this but they just get rid of water, no one wants to store it
01:34:38 Stephanie Robertson: He will be storing the water in the soil.
01:35:47 Gael Kennedy: how much cattle does he have generally
01:37:51 Gael Kennedy: so great to see Leanne – thanks for sharing
01:38:15 Gerhard Grasser: I missed who the person is who is developing this farm….
