Martin has drought proofed his farm by following several principles which are key to remaking the landscape. The 1st major change was adopting holistic management practices and keeping his focus on the soil. Along with contribution from many other mentors, Martin has closely followed Peter Andrews who established Natural Sequence Farming and has adopted many of his principles.
Martin is still learning and, according to Peter, has about 85% of the way to go BUT will get there in the next 18 months!
