“What Do Successful, Profitable and Happy Farmers Do Differently?”
Helen and Hugo Disler from Farming Secrets presented the webinar, “What Do Successful, Profitable and Happy Farmers Do Differently?”
Through practical examples and real-life case studies, they explored how successful farmers are moving beyond treating symptoms and focusing instead on the source of long-term farm health: healthy, living soil.
The webinar featured regenerative farmers and innovators, including Rob Sutherland from De Bortoli Wines, Colin Seis, and Di and Ian Haggerty of Natural Intelligence Farming in Western Australia, Craig Carter, Ron and Bev Smith, Charlie Maslin, Nic DIbden and Martin Royds.
Each demonstrated how biological and regenerative practices can reduce dependence on costly inputs while building healthier, more resilient and profitable farming systems.
Key topics included soil biology, cover crops, water management and reducing chemical inputs. Farmers were encouraged to begin with small, low-risk trials, observe the results and expand what works.
Farmers were encouraged to start with small, low-risk trials, observe the results and gradually expand the practices that work.
The central message was clear: choose a goal, follow a proven system and rebuild soil health one practical step at a time.
Seek support, connect with others and join a community of farmers working towards similar goals.
The webinar concluded with a selection of educational resources, practical training and ongoing support available through Farming Secrets for anyone ready to begin—or continue—the transition to regenerative agriculture.
